What to report

• Calculation looks wrong: tell me the inputs and the result you got, and what you expected. Include the material, dimensions, and any waste/compaction factors you used.
• Material is missing: tell me the material and the density you have a source for. We'll add it.
• Page doesn't render right: include your browser, OS, and a screenshot if you can. Note the URL.
• Suggestion for a new calculator: describe the use case. We add calculators based on demand, not completeness.

What we can't help with

• Local pricing: we publish national mid-points, not quotes. For a real quote, contact a local contractor.
• Material selection: the calculator assumes you know what material you want. For "what should I use for X," consult a contractor or a local building-supply store.
• Code or structural questions: we publish the math; if the math says your 20 ft deck needs a 24″ sonotube 48″ deep but your local code says something different, follow your local code.

Response time

We check email a few times a week. If your issue is urgent (a paid service depending on the calculator being right, say), please don't — verify with a qualified professional first.
