The Sakrete calculator is an independent tool for sizing Sakrete-branded concrete-mix bags. Sakrete and Quikrete are the two dominant bagged-concrete brands in the US — the products are functionally interchangeable for most residential work, and the yields are nearly identical.
A Sakrete 80 lb bag yields about 0.60 ft³ finished, so 1 yd³ of concrete = 45 × 80 lb Sakrete bags. The 60 lb and 40 lb bags yield proportionally less.

When to use Sakrete
Same as Quikrete — small slabs, post holes, sonotubes, fence posts, repairs. The choice between Sakrete and Quikrete usually comes down to which one your local home improvement store stocks at the best price. They're a wash on quality.
